I couldn’t find a gloss in my “perfect” shade of hot pink. I wanted it to be *exactly* like my “Magenta Madness” pigment from MAC but a gloss, something I could sheer out for a subtle flush of color or wear when I felt like rocking a ridiculously pink lip.
Solution? Buy a clear lip gloss and add pigment. It’s a great way to customize color into a portable and easy-to-use container (and you can pick a delicious flavor, mine’s Pink Lemonade). You can make it as sheer or opaque as you want and it’s cost effective.
Tips:
- Pigment can be your best friend and worst enemy, do this in the bathroom where spills are ok. The first couple times can be messy.
- Use a lip gloss that has a wand. I’m a HUGE fan the Lip Smacker “Clear Shine Liquid Lip Gloss”. $2.99
